Ed Tingley, Quezada Architecture
Coming from a long line of architects and engineers, it seemed genetically ingrained from a very early age that Ed would become one himself. He has always been fascinated with design, construction, spatiality, and how objects (natural and human-made) and machines parts interact. At QA, Edward has been responsible for the management of many of the firm’s most significant projects since joining Quezada Architecture at the inception in 1994. As a Senior Design Principal and Project Manager at QA, he has collaboratively shaped and delivered nearly all of the firm's recently recognized commercial projects. In addition to project specific Design and Management responsibilities, Edward presides over the operations and client management practice strategies across the daily spectrum of in-house projects in the California offices.
Outside of architecture, Ed has a passion for sailing, an exciting combination of physical exhilaration and mental forethought and agility. For Ed, sailing allows for enjoyment of natural settings not otherwise easily accessible, while being in the vortex of several interactive energy forces. After a good day on the boat, Ed will be found eating Huevos Rancheros and a taste of waffles for brunch.
